GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Under general supervision of the Vice President of Administrative Services, provides enrollment services to Agency employees for all insurance, benefit, and retirement programs, and compiles and maintains all appropriate reports, files, and database information for such programs; administers Agency recruitment, evaluations, employee training, and volunteer utilization.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
This position reports directly to the Director of Human Resources.
RESPONSIBILITIES (illustrative and not intended as inclusive; specific responsibilities may vary):
(1.) Coordinates informative trainings and is available to answer employee questions concerning all insurance, benefit, and retirement programs.
(2.) Enrolls new employees into insurance, benefit, and retirement programs.
(3.) Serves as liaison between Agency employees and employee benefit companies and provides insurance carriers with timely submissions of required data and reports.
(4.) Coordinates and administers all disability, FMLA, flexible-spending account, unemployment, worker’s compensation, and other employment related programs and accurately, professionally, and timely completes all appropriate documentation, census reports, and reviews.
(5.) Aids in administering Agency payroll as requested.
(6.) Administers Agency recruitment, résumé solicitation and documentation, verification of employment eligibility, and new hire orientation.
(7.) Coordinates the Agency’s volunteer program ensuring that appropriate procedures, evaluations, and screenings are created and utilized for volunteer selection.
(8.) Develops and administers orientation and training programs for new, current, and supervisory employees ensuring that such trainings are conducted within applicable regulatory and/or Agency-specific timeframes.
(9.) Coordinates health and safety training and recordkeeping ensuring compliance with applicable state and federal regulations.
(10.) Maintains documentation of all employee training, seminar and special programming attendance, and tabulates training hours for each employee.
(11.) Assists with matters associated with employee compensation, retention, discipline, and employee relations.
(12.) Assists with the Agency’s annual employee review process.
(13.) Administers, reviews, and updates the Agency’s Employment Policies & Procedures and Standards of Conduct as required.
(14.) Performs other Agency-related duties as assigned.

(6.) Maintains as confidential all matters related to Agency affairs and refrains from internal and external discussions related to any employee, consumer, financial, or administrative issue except as required as part of job performance.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS (required at time of offer):
(1.) Associate’s degree in related field.
(2.) Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
(3.) Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills.
(4.) Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
(5.) Prior benefits administration experience preferred.
(6.) Prior experience with Microsoft Office and related applications or other IBM-compatible word processing program.
(7.) Able to work a flexible schedule, with “regular” business hours set by the Agency.
(8.) Satisfaction of all employment eligibility and Agency hiring requirements.
