Responsibilities

Our GIS team is seeking a talented and experienced GIS Specialist. This individual will be responsible for creating, organizing, modifying, and analyzing geospatial data and mapping oil and gas pipelines. This GIS Specialist will perform analysis, data-loading, conversion, manipulation, and ad hoc queries on multiple large data sets for various projects. This individual will work collectively with Engineering, Operations, Pipeline Integrity, and Regulatory departments to identify and ensure that EnLink complies with the state and federal DOT rules and regulations.

  • Load and maintain pipeline data in a linear-referenced enterprise database
  • Perform GIS data quality control, including reviewing data for completeness and accuracy
  • Deliver GIS products and reports to internal customers; being able to communicate deliverables and timelines to customers
  • Responsible for basic GIS calculations and assisting in the review of more advanced analysis
  • Spatial data acquisition, data conversion, and spatial/tabular analysis
  • Perform reviews to ensure work is carried out efficiently and follows standards set by EnLink
  • Work with the GIS team to develop process improvements and find GIS solutions for internal stakeholders

Location: Dallas, TX

Hybrid Schedule: In office Mon, Tues, Thurs; WFH Wed, Fri

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in GIS, geography, computer science, environmental science, or a combination of education and relevant work experience is required
  • 5 years of GIS experience
  • Advanced knowledge of ArcMap and ArcGIS Pro
  • Experience in ArcGIS Server, SDE Administration, ArcGIS Portal, and/or ArcGIS Online
  • Experience with FME is a plus
  • Experience in Python or Arcade scripting languages is a plus
  • Skilled in the acquisition of publicly available GIS data
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities with critical thinking
  • Oil and Gas industry knowledge is a plus
  • Knowledge in pipeline regulatory data submissions is a plus
  • Ability to work on multiple projects for multiple clients
