ENG (ENG) is a 36 year old publicly listed (NASDAQ:ENG) EPF contractor (Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication) focused on innovative delivery of, cost-effective solutions.
ENGs expertise reaches three main market verticals: Oil & Gas, Energy & Renewables, Government, Automation & Integration. Services include EPF/ C(m) (Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication and Construction (Management)) projects with a large portion of self-perform work.
ENG is looking for a Controller to join our team. This is a senior level management position that will report to the CFO and work closely with the Accounting and Executive Teams. To qualify for this position the candidate should have solid hands-on experience in the construction industry.
Key responsibilities:
- Partner with the CFO and senior leaders on operational and strategic issues.
- Oversees the Accounting and Project Controls teams.
- Responsible for SEC reporting and disclosures.
- Promotes a framework to drive financial accountability across the organization.
- Provides timely and meaningful analyses and reporting to operational leaders.
- Develops and maintains the internal control environment.
- Tax administration and compliance.
- Responsible for the accumulation and consolidation of financial data necessary to produce accurate and timely business results.
- Oversees the annual insurance renewal and ensures appropriate coverage is maintained.
- Coordinates with IT Manager to maintain accounting software systems and related processes and workflows.
- Maintains external relationships with banks and auditors.
- Prepares weekly cash projection and daily cash status reports.
- Prepares financial forecasts and coordinates the preparation of annual operating plan.
- Possess a proven and well-established track record in the construction industry, managing a wide variety of projects ranging from $100K to $30M
- Experience in the coordination and financial oversight of project control and accounting functions.
- Management experience directing a local accounting team.
- A team player with demonstrated interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Minimum of Bachelors Degree in Accounting.
- Masters Degree and CPA preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of project based / percentage of completion (POC) method of accounting.
- Experience with Microsoftt Dynamics SL preferred.
