Program Director
enGenius Consulting Group, Inc. (enGenius) is looking for a seasoned professional to join our Senior Management Team. The position will report to the President who is in the Corporate Headquarters in Huntsville, AL. Position can be remote and will require travel.
This position leads all aspects of operations and program management for the company in regard to the company’s Portfolio. The role develops, manages, and tracks performance of critical initiatives, and daily business efforts of the portfolio, with a key focused on creating a systems’ approach to improving visibility and accountability including that of account management, performance development and other functional aspects. This position will provide best-in-class government operations leadership for program management, compliance, high value renewal strategies and administrative operational functions. The goal of this position is focused on building efficiencies and improving customer interactions across a range of touch points within the Portfolio.
Responsibilities:
· Oversees all Program Management Office (PMO) activities ensuring goals, objectives, risks, schedules, roadmap updates, communication best practices, resource allocation and project Overseeing enGenius ISO certifications and serve as the company point of contact.
· Leads and oversees the development of operational and program management metrics.
· Develops policies, procedures and process improvements that promote operational effectiveness, efficiencies, and best practices.
· Manages Program Managers to ensure compliance with contract requirements and Federal Acquisition Regulations.
· Initiates and set goals for programs according to the deliverables and strategic objectives.
· Plans program execution involving deadlines, milestones, and processes.
· Establishes clear organizational lines of authority and responsibility with staff and corporate leadership to ensure effective management of personnel assigned to the requirement.
· Ensures program operations and activities adhere to legal guidelines and internal policies.
· Monitors program and indirect financial performance to the assigned budgets.
· Updates senior management with detailed and accurate reports or presentations.
· Maintains continuity between the support operations at the Government site and the enGenius
Corporate Office.
· Works closely with Human Resources to oversee recruiting and retention to include enforcement of the company’s staffing policies and procedures.
· Responsible for employee morale and personnel improvement plans.
· Responsible for development of opportunity pipeline and proposal support for growth within the portfolio through communication with VP of Strategic Growth.
· All other duties as assigned.
Skill Requirements:
· Possesses demonstrable skills in program execution, contracting, team building, customer relationship management, operations, and business development.
· Has an effective interpersonal, communications and negotiation skills for a wide variety of technical and non-technical audiences to include internal and external stakeholders.
· Have a strategic mindset as well as the ability to lead and develop program teams.
· Maintains a thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods.
· Proficient in MS Office including MS Project and other standard software suites.
· Has advanced business acumen, analysis, planning and goal setting (short and long term), creativity, leadership and interpersonal skills, relationship building across functional groups and leadership levels throughout the organization skills.
· Excellent interpersonal (both orally and written) as well as presentation skills.
· Utilizes and applies corporate knowledge for reviewing, evaluating, and responding to RFPs,RFIs, PWS’, and other Federal solicitation types.
· Must assist with all elements of the Proposal, as required, with expertise with Technical, Past Performance and Cost.
· Excellent organization/project planning, time management, cost management, change management across multiple functional groups and departments, and delegation skills involving prioritizing and reprioritizing projects.
· Must be available to travel to visit customers and employees working at Customer Sites.
· Ensure customer satisfaction in obtaining above Satisfactory CPARS records on all projects.
Education, Desired Skills, & Experience:
· BS in Business, Management, Technical, or related field (MS preferred)
· At least 5 years’ of demonstrated experience managing programs in the federal contractor marketplace.
· Additional 7 years’ experience can be substituted for BS degree requirement.
· Profit and loss experience required
· Experience managing programs with DISA strongly desirable.
· Project Management Institute Certified (PMP) is highly desirable.
