Job Summary:

The Accounts Payable Manger oversees all necessary accounts payable duties to support the Finance Department.

Specific Responsibilities: 

1. Manages a staff of three Accounts Payable Specialists.

2. Ensure bills are paid in a timely and accurate manner.

3. Post invoices into the computer system using MS Dynamics & PDI software.

4. File paid and unpaid invoices and statements.

5. Research and resolve vendor inquiries regarding billing, payment and discrepancies as necessary.

6. File annual 1099’s.

7. Performs monthly reconciliation of Accounts payable and General Ledger.

8. Maintains all accounts payable reports, spreadsheets and corporate accounts payable files.

9. Assists Accounting Department as necessary.

10. Assists in monthly closings.

Qualifications:

1. 5 years of experience 

2. Degree preferred.

3. Experience working with integrated accounting systems, Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains helpful.
