SOFTWARE ENGINEER III

Position Description:

This position will be instrumental in the development of the new version of this mission critical application, which provides command and control of devices and assures site security. The new version will utilize java/javascript, and MERN stack. The developer will assist/mentor junior development team members as needed.
Requirements:

• Twenty (20) years of experience as a SWE in program and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• Java, Javascript or NodeJS
• REST Application Program Interfaces 
• Web development 
• Database Management Systems
  • MERN (MySQL and/or MongoDB, Express, React, and Node)
  • Oracle and PostgresSQL 
• Linux Development and Administration 
• Eclipse
• Jira and Confluence
• Must hold a current and active TS/SCI with polygraph
