Empowering People's Independence(EPI) is Hiring a Residential Supervisor Near Rochester, NY

Empowering People’s Independence (EPI) currently has Full Time Residential Supervisor position available to work in our local Group Homes. Position includes PTO and paid training. We offer medical benefits, 403(b), tuition reimbursement, work-life balance, and a safe work environment that adheres to the CDC guidelines.

We are looking for caring individuals to provide support for people with developmental disabilities to improve their health, wellbeing, independence, and social inclusion.

Job Purpose:
Primary function of this position is to provide direction and oversight of the day-to-day
operation of the programs
Essential Functions:

  • Maintain health, wellbeing, and oversight of the people supported by Empowering People’s Independence (EPI).
  • Ensure adequate employees to meet the needs of the people supported within the program.
  • Monitor the timely submission of all Office of People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) required documentation.
  • Provide employee supervision and training in accordance with OPWDD and EPI Guidelines.
  • Rotate on-call responsibilities with management team.
  • Work directly and collaboratively with behavioral and medical team to provide consistent care to the people supported.
  • Participate as requested in all referrals, admissions, placements, and discharges.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or designee within scope of practice.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum High School Diploma with Five (5) years of Human Service experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred with 1 years of Human Service experience.
  • Must be willing to complete specific company required trainings as mandated by our governing agency, Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) at time of hire and annually thereafter.
  • Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
