Employer Services Corporation is Hiring a Technical Support Engineer Near Buffalo, NY

Employer Services Corporation is seeking to add a Technical Support Engineer to our growing team! The Technical Support Engineer will use their technical expertise and strong interpersonal communication skills to deliver technical presentations and create technology-based solutions necessary to service clients and support end-users (both external and internal).

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of ESC’s products and services.
  • Create and deliver system demonstrations, customer training and technical presentations explaining ESC’s systems and providing technical services to customers, prospects and end-users.
  • Provide sales and implementation support to new and existing clients related to ESC’s core systems, technical tools and add-on products.
  • Create training standards, resources and support materials. Maintain training documentation and product support materials.
  • Configure, train, maintain and support core systems and various add-on products.
  • Develop end-users by providing on-going technical training and support, thereby reducing the demands on IT, increasing end-user self-sufficiency and the overall satisfaction of ESC’s technical tools and services.
  • Install and configure various computer systems and applications, diagnose technical problems and provide 2nd level IT support to internal staff.
  • Train and develop Technical Support Specialist team members.
  • Collaborate with the other members of the IT team and participate on cross functional teams to address the company’s operational needs and implement process improvements.
  • Create system reports and provide assistance to users creating reports.
  • Scripting and custom programming to provide customized solutions for customers.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to provide customer and end-user support.

The successful candidate will have:

  • BS in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent
  • 5 year of technical customer service and training
  • Excellent problem solving and interpersonal communication skills
  • Customer Service and Training Experience
  • Must be proactive, self-motivated, organized and have good interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of HRIS, Time & Attendance, LMS, Performance Management and ATS a plus
