Emotive.io is Hiring a Remote Director of Demand Generation

About the Role and Your Impact:

Our Marketing team here at Emotive is looking to hire a Director of Demand Generation to support our already established outbound sales motion, while rapidly building an inbound and product-led motion to generate top of the funnel awareness for our business.

We are looking for someone to help get us there quickly and efficiently by identifying and scaling new channels for growth, while maintaining and growing our already strong sales-led motion.

The highest priority of this role will be to evaluate our market, identify marketing channels to generate leads, build a plan for how to maximize ROI, and then execute against said plan to connect with as many ICPs as possible and move them down funnel.

As we see it, Demand Generation is the backbone of marketing. We are looking for a dynamic leader to work alongside the VP of Marketing to establish the role and collaborate cross functionally to drive pipeline for the organization.

How You Will Contribute:

  • Evaluate our market and funnel stages to identify and prioritize investment opportunities
  • Design, manage, and optimize integrated marketing campaigns including sales emails, marketing emails, SMS sends, website updates, events, etc. to generate pipeline
  • Interface cross-functionally to ensure deadlines are met and expectations are clear
  • Create, implement, and monitor a lifecycle nurturing strategy to move leads down funnel
  • Support our outbound sales team with list acquisition, segment prioritization, and email cadence creation
  • Drive performance marketing strategy and optimize ad spend through our media buying agency
  • Measure, analyze, and report on campaign and lifecycle performance

Skills You Will Bring:

  • 8 years experience leading the Demand Gen function at similar stage tech companies
  • Experience with working/aligning to an inbound/outbound sales team
  • Experience managing marketers and agencies
  • Experience with similar $15k ACV companies and a short sales cycle
  • Experience supporting an outbound GTM motion
  • Experience targeting ecommerce marketers a big plus
  • Experience managing marketing-to-sales funnel
