You will be responsible for initiating and managing contract negotiations and ongoing Defence relationships, overseeing proof of concept development, and driving product and service development and delivery to a high quality standard. Working with the CTO, Global Head of Defence & Security, and Product Management teams you will build a clear, strategically aligned project roadmap. Working with the SVP Sales and the Head of Finance you will define and deliver value and profitability in project planning.Who are we?Emesent is a tech start-up, spun out of CSIRO in late 2018 with 7 people and growing to 160 people. Well established in the mining industry, Emesent has revolutionised workflows for 3D mapping of complex, inaccessible, and dangerous environments with its Hovermap system leveraging AI and LiDAR to provide true autonomous navigation in GPS denied environments. With hundreds of systems in use in more than 35 countries, Emesent has a global footprint and is keen to grow in other verticals. A recently established Defence & Security division is focused on providing solutions within the robotics, autonomous systems, and AI problem space to answer the most challenging and complex problems. Emesent will have a global impact and a key part to play in delivering critical capabilities with the ability to provide actionable intelligence, through its data analytics, whilst keeping users safer and reducing cognitive burden.
