California Animal Specialty and Emergency (CASE) is a new, privately and locally owned Emergency/ Specialty small animal practice in Anaheim, CA. We are a 24/7 ER with board-certified specialists in Anesthesiology, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Oncology, Radiology and Surgery.

We are currently recruiting Emergency Department Veterinarians for daytime, swing and overnight shifts. This position requires 1-3 years of experience in emergency veterinary medicine with an empathetic and diplomatic approach to client interactions. Critical thinking skills and a solutions-based approach are essential elements for success in this role:

• Previous completion of a small animal rotating internship (or 1-3 years of emergency veterinary experience as a primary clinician)
• Competency in emergency surgical procedures
• Ability to use EzyVet and Smartflow
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, highly collegiate environment
• Ability to direct and interact effectively with a team of DA s, triage and treatment technicians
• A high level of collegiality and communication with primary veterinarians and clients
• Licensure as a DVM in California
