Emerald is Hiring a Remote Sales Operations Coordinator

Overview

Emerald is seeking a Sales Operations Coordinator to support the launch a new brand, in collaboration with an industry leader, focused on professional Basketball lifestyle and culture. The goal of this brand is to create the leading consumer basketball event and digital platform both in the US and internationally.

The Sales Operations Coordinator will support our Sales team with day-to-day administrative sales tasks to support the growth of our account base. With mentorship from the Sales team and frequent interaction with our Marketing and Operations teams, the Sales Operations Coordinator will also support special projects within Sales and Marketing. This highly collaborative role also requires frequent communication with clients through email and phone, and the ability to problem-solve to ensure client satisfaction.

Emerald is looking to develop a leading B2C brand and is eager to engage with candidates who are truly passionate about basketball and providing innovative solutions with a love of building and creating unique experiences plus the know-how to drive significant results. Candidates must be highly accountable and action oriented, with the ability to pivot quickly to drive the success of a new launch. To best support our sales team, we’re seeking candidates who have a demonstrated ability to multi-task and can effectively manage conflicting priorities while maintaining impeccable attention to detail. Intellectual curiosity and motivation will be key to learning and growing in this role; equally important are openness to feedback and self-motivation to identify and tackle any tasks that support the team and overall business growth.

This position can be performed from any of our US-based offices or remotely from anywhere within the US.

Responsibilities
  • Support the sales team with account maintenance and updates
  • Field phone calls and emails from customers with questions regarding fulfillment of their sponsorships and/or contracts
  • Support sales reporting, including updating communication in Salesforce
  • Support various ad-hoc special projects and administrative tasks as necessary
Qualifications
  • Experience supporting a fast-moving Sales organization
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Salesforce to enter, manipulate, and perform basic analysis of data
  • Experience in A2Z or Smartsheets is a plus
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and articulately with all levels of the organization 
  • Proactive work style that demonstrates the ability to effectively prioritize, multitask, and identify potential challenge areas
  • Ability to travel
  • Degree not required

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Target Compensation: $62,000 - $65,000

Please note that this range reflects a reasonable estimate of the target compensation for this position. This range may ultimately vary based on a candidate’s qualifications and may be higher where required by applicable law.
