Emerald is seeking a Sales Manager to support our Active Collective Shows. These shows are invite-only, premier marketplaces where activewear buyers (boutiques, luxury resorts, spas, gyms, major department stores and active-specialty stores) join us from all over the world to shop the trending, high-end active-wear brands. Our shows give the retailers and exhibitors the opportunity to escape the mundane and become genuinely immersed in the active culture. Active Collective Shows are held 4 times annually, two shows in Huntington Beach, CA and two in NYC.
The Sales Manager for Active Collective is responsible for exhibit, sponsorship, and advertising revenue for all four events. As a true hunter, you will prospect new opportunities, develop those leads, build relationships, and close sales, all while maintaining an active pipeline of opportunities. In addition to exhibit sales, you’ll sell both on-site sponsorships and digital advertising to your customer base to generate added revenue. This role nurtures the participation of key existing customers, wins participation of new vendors, and supports show success through floor planning, and sales forecasting. In addition, the Sales Manager needs to be in tune with the industries we support, with the ability to raise solutions that deepen customer engagement. The best candidate for the Sales Manager role will be a confident salesperson with strong interpersonal skills presented equally well in person and virtually. You will need to be an active listener and take a strategic consultative selling approach to ensure that your clients achieve the best possible results at our event. You also need to be a team player and have an appetite for research and self-discovery to become an expert in the active-wear market.
