Elutions is a rapidly growing Artificial Intelligence company, headquartered in Tampa, FL, with consistent growth in excess of 150%. To help facilitate our continued growth and success, we are looking to hire an experienced Staff Accountant that will oversee all US operations, and report to the Chief Financial Officer. The successful candidate will be a hard worker with an attention for detail. This person will be responsible for the accounting operations of the company and must be prepared to work past the normal hours of business, due to global operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage US Accounting Processes and deadlines.
• Oversee monthly and quarterly accounting close process, auditor relationships, and all financial reporting requirements.
• Monitor accounting practices to ensure correct revenue recognition, and GAAP compliance.
• Financial planning, budgeting and analysis to ensure accurate measurement of performance, drivers and financial KPIs as well as variances against budget and forecasts
• Develop, document and manage the Company’s internal financial controls including the Company’s Sarbanes-Oxley work plan, ensuring compliance with these controls.
• Manage worldwide Company tax compliance.
• Assist in the financial analysis and integration of strategic business lines of acquired companies.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work independently and manage financial reporting deliverables/timelines.
• A minimum of 5 years financial accounting experience.
• Quickbooks experience is a must.
• Ability to accurately assess individual performance and set appropriate levels of expectations for the accounting team.
• Intercompany transactions experience preferred.
• Experience working with a privately held company preferred.
• Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively and independently.
• Ability to problem solve, prioritize and multi-task in a very fast-paced environment.
• Needs to have advanced technical ability, as well as detailed experience in Excel spreadsheet software.
• Must be willing to travel, up to 10%.
• Must be able to work out of our downtown Tampa office.
