Elutions is actively searching for a Business Development Associate to join our growing team. The Business Development Associate will play a key role in supporting activities across the end-to-end business development lifecycle in service to delivering revenue through new business growth in the Americas. This individual will report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer for the Americas Group. The Business Development Associate will work with leaders across the organization’s business development, marketing, sales, client services and engineering teams to drive execution and deal management, and deliver timely insights informed by thorough research.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  1. Execution and Deal Management
    1. Communicates and coordinates with Elutions stakeholders by organizing internal and external meetings, recording and distributing notes with action items, maintaining CRM records, tracking blocking issues and working with deal stakeholders to drive resolutions
    2. Works with Elutions stakeholders to prepare impactful presentation materials for meetings, convert complex data findings into understandable text, tables, graphs and/or data visualizations, and present clear reports to clients and management
  2. Research
    1. Assists with the development of strategy into an identified sector by researching technology, industry and competitive trends
    2. Works internally to understand how Elutions is positioned, then shares research and insights with the team and identifies actions based on insights
    3. Collaborates with stakeholders to support the business development life cycle by researching leads, prospects, clients and partners to identify new revenue generating opportunities
      1. Understands our technology and client operational environments at a technical level to effectively communicate optimization opportunities to client stakeholders

Key Position Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field OR equivalent experience

Experience:

  • Minimum three years of experience in business development, account management, investment banking, consulting, finance, marketing, corporate strategy, sales, venture capital, legal, business development, technology, and/or related field

Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated ability to apply technical knowledge with latest versions of PowerPoint (PC and Mac) including creating slide masters, designing for various output media (projector, monitors and printouts), object animations/transitions, embedding video, etc.
  • Ability to translate complicated concepts into clear and compelling visual narratives (infographics, animation, icons, charts, data visualization)
  • Highly proficient in identifying core issues quickly, generating testable hypotheses, gathering and analyzing facts, crafting creative and practical solutions, and syndicating support and mobilizing
  • Experience in working and interacting with executives and technical professionals at various levels
  • Possesses exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
  • Thrives in roles that require both individual ownership and leadership as well as cross-team collaboration to develop solutions and achieve desired outcomes

Travel Requirements: This position may require international travel.
