Responsibilities
The Director of Admissions will oversee the anddirect the Admissions and Utilization Review processes for the Children's Center while identifying opportunities for business development, supporting relationships with managed care plans and improving the resident and family experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required - Master’s degree in Nursing, Public Administration, Health Care Administration, or related field desired
- New York State RN Licensure required
Experience
- 8-10 years’ experience in Health Care, Hospital or Nursing Home Admissions
- Experience and knowledge with Utilization Review or Managed Care program development
- Experience in Marketing and Business Development preferred
- 4-5 years of Pediatric hospital or long-term care facility preferred
