Responsibilities

Elizabeth Seton Children’s Center, in partnership with the Steven and Alexandra Cohen Pediatric Long Term Care Pavilion at Blythedale Children’s Hospital, is seeking a shared Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA). This is a unique opportunity for an experienced LNHA to join two of the leading, specialty, pediatric long-term care centers in New York that are setting the standard for caring for children and young adults with complex medical conditions in the State and beyond. The successful candidate will be mission-driven with an established track record of deftly leading teams to provide the highest quality, patient-centered care delivered with compassion and dignity. This position works closely with the VP of Operations to promote and support operational efficiencies for the Children’s Center in accordance with the center-wide policies and strategic organizational goals and will dedicate 12 hours per week serving as the Administrator of Record providing leadership services on a consulting basis to The Steven and Alexandra Cohen Pediatric Long Term Care Pavilion at Blythedale Children’s Hospital.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in health care administration or related field.
• Must possess a current New York State Nursing Home Administrator’s license.

Experience

• Minimum five (5) years of leadership experience in long term care.
• Must be able to demonstrate operational success including exceptional resident service, advocacy for public policy changes, optimizing census, compliance with state regulations and achievement of consistent star superior ratings within the areas of responsibility.
• Demonstrated ability to establish standard of performance for operational efficiencies.
