ABOUT THE JOB:

The Sales Supervisor will be responsible for assisting ELITE in meeting our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. The Sales Supervisor will oversee the activities of Business Development Managers by tracking revenue goals and KPIs, managing and coaching performance, and facilitating ongoing training. The Sales Supervisor will support the sales manager in an
administrative capacity. The Sales Supervisor will take strides to become an expert in supporting the sales teams and watching industry trends to see a consistent upward trajectory in productivity at ELITE.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the performance and productivity of sales teams including 3-5 Business Development Managers.
  • Coach and develop sales teams to drive revenue and profitability.
  • Collaborate with Sales Manager to ensure sales teams are properly staffed to accommodate existing customers as well as future growth.
  • Onboard and transition personnel into BDM positions while assisting with their training and development.
  • Maintain current knowledge on industry trends to become an in-house expert in staying ahead of the market.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and KPI reporting for sales teams.
  • Assist the Sales Manager with reporting and administrative functions.

 SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 2 or more years’ experience of outside or direct B2B sales required.
  • Experience in 3PL or Freight Brokerage sales markets highly preferred.
  • At least 2 or more of management and team leadership experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong desire to drive business initiatives.
  • Excellent sales and customer service skills with proven negotiation skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • 4-year degree from an accredited university preferred.
