Position Title: Financial Analyst Sr (US) Job Description: Location(s): This position will take part in Elevance Health's hybrid work model which includes remote work and 0-3 days in office per month. Proximity to an Elevance Health major office (pulse point) is required. Elevance Health supports a hybrid workplace model with pulse point sites used for collaboration, community, and connection. The Financial Analyst Sr is responsible for preparing financial and business-related analyses and researching in such areas as financial and expense performance, rate of return, depreciation, business improvement, and business investment opportunities. How You Will Make an Impact: Prepares budgets, forecasts, trend analyses and expense accruals. Analyzes and creates various administrative expense journal entries. Compiles and prepares standard and ad hoc financial reports. Reviews invoices and other administrative expenses to ensure proper booking to the GL. Supports business contacts with ad-hoc requests & questions related to their admin expenses. Supports processes to distribute financial results and other data to various leaders. Minimum Requirements: Requires a BA/BS in accounting or finance and a minimum of 1 year of experience in general accounting, financial planning, and management reporting or an approved Finance internship; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences: Ability to manage and work with large data sets is paramount for this position. Experience with Oracle’s Hyperion Essbase preferred. Experience with PeopleSoft Financials preferred. Experience with MS Excel preferred. MBA, CPA, or CMA preferred, but not required.
