SUMMARY OF ROLE:
The Manufacturing Technical provides daily support of processes, materials, and equipment in order to achieve production goals. The technical works with engineering to develop and improve manufacturing processes and works to implement changes. The technical will be responsible for qualifying, maintaining and troubleshooting equipment. Additionally, the technical may assist production team with manufacturing as needed. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supports production to meet production goals
• Creates, updates, and maintains manufacturing & equipment documentation
• Performs equipment preventative maintenance and troubleshooting
• Supports the Quality team with equipment calibration as needed
• Assists with process development and validation activities
• Helps transfer new products to manufacturing
• Interface with vendors and establish a good repour
• Understand the job specific quality system procedures and processes as defined in Training Matrix and adhere to the requirements listed in those documents. Clearly communicate if any procedure or process requirements are is unclear to their supervisor or to Quality Assurance
• Maintain corporate confidentiality at all times

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate degree or higher in a technical field
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in medical device industry preferred
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to work across the organization
• Demonstrated ability to balance multiple priorities against aggressive deadlines while maintaining a high dress of quality
• Must have excellent problem solving skills, ability to diagnose issues, find and test solutions
• Soldering skills; familiarity with electronic and electrical components is a plus
• Experience with electromechanical devices and/or capital equipment is a plus
• Experience with SolidWorks is preferred
