Element Materials Technology is Hiring a Chemistry Technician Near Daleville, IN

Overview

Element has an opportunity for a Chemist for testing, sample preparation and delivery/collection of samples and preparation of test reports.

Responsibilities

  • Operation of equipment like ICP, Salt Spray, Leco C/S, XRF, FTIR
  • Prepare the reagents, standard solution and ensure standardization of the solution used in the laboratory
  • Perform titrations and report tank analysis as required.
  • Perform sample preparation and metallurgical evaluations as required
  • Performance of qualitative and quantitative laboratory tests and analysis of other substances as per standard method
  • Working to all HSE standards

**Note:

The hiring manager of this position is remote. The customer will provide day to day instruction.

Skills / Qualifications

  • Associates Degree in Chemistry or similar experience
  • Minimum 2 years experience in similar role
  • Have the ability to work in teams under pressure and flexible to work different working hours (night / day) shifts if required or necessary
  • This position works in a customer facility, using customer IT services and equipment
  • There is a department manager on-site at all times
