*Location: *Corona, CA
*Schedule: *3 pm - 11:30 pm with OT
*Pay Rate:* $25 - $27 per hour
*Job Overview:*
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to fabricate metal and plastic parts. You will work with precision tools and equipment to ensure the production of high-quality components.
*Responsibilities:*
- Set up and operate CNC machines Mill or Lather to perform machining operations according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations
- Select the appropriate tools, machines, and materials to be used in preparation for machining
- Load raw materials into the machine and position them for machining
- Monitor the machine operation to ensure proper functioning and make necessary adjustments as needed
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM)
- Troubleshoot issues that may arise during the machining process
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
*Requirements:*
- 3 Plus years of proven experience as a CNC Machinist
- Proficient in operating CNC machines - HAAS machines preferred
- Strong knowledge of machining techniques, tools, and materials
- Familiarity with Fanuc controls
- Understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
- Mechanical knowledge of machine tools and their applications
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Excellent attention to detail and precision
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Proficient in using hand tools for setup and adjustment
