Job Details
The target salary for this position starts at $17 hourly and ranges depending on experience.
POSITION: Maintenance Worker
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Maintenance Worker will work under direct supervision of the Program Manager, or designee. The Maintenance Worker is responsible for keeping the building clean and in performing the following duties: Sweeps, mops and vacuums floors, empties trash, washes inside windows, dust and wax furniture and cleans restrooms.
The Maintenance Worker is responsible for notifying the Program Manager and Assistant Manager of any repairs or additions to lighting, air condition/heating equipment.
Duties also include notifying the Program Manager, or designee, when cleaning materials and supplies are running low and need to be ordered. The Maintenance Worker will be responsible for closing facility at night and ensuring security when necessary. S/he will perform related and building maintenance duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS: Mature judgment, tact discretion and confidentiality are mandatory. Requires a professional, pleasant, and effective representation of the corporation.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must possess a dependable automobile with insurance and a valid Drivers license. Must submit to and pass a drug test, fitness for duty and a criminal background clearance as a pre-condition to employment. Must be able to lift 25-50 pounds. Must be able to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination and booster.
QUALIFICATIONS: One (1) year experience. Bilingual (Spanish/ English) preferred.
