EISCANDIDATEPORTAL is Hiring a System Administrator Near North Chicago, IL

EIS is seeking a qualified individual to provide technical support and assistance to employees of the Selective Service System in North Chicago, IL. Qualified individual must be DOD 8570 compliant and have 3 years of demonstrated experience with the following technologies, services and protocols: • An Industry Standard for IT Services , (i.e.Remedy, FootPrints, ServiceNow, Vizor etc) • Microsoft Active Directory • Ability complete tasks for the installation of Network Hardware and/or installation of server rack, UPS, appliances etc. • Client Support Skills in assessing user requirements and implementing solutions • Configuration and deployment of PC/Client hardware and software • MS Office Suite software • Adobe Software Duty task include: Develop, maintain and/or follow prescribed agency procedures to sustain compliance with the agency’s established configuration baseline Follow prescribed agency adoption if Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Standards for the successful service delivery for Tier-1-2 support of SSS end-users, specialty systems and software in support of all agency Directorates. Assist with maintaining security protocols, procedures, software patches, and tools to sustain compliance with the agency’s established configuration baseline Assist with maintaining established system/network, interface protocols, procedures, software patches, and tools to sustain compliance with the agency’s established configuration baseline Analyze, troubleshoot and/or resolve hardware/software interface and interoperability problems in support of Tier-1-2 support issues Provide senior-level technical support and troubleshooting to network, desktop, and/or systems hardware and software. Install, configure, and upgrade computer hardware and software. Directly supports agency Configuration Management (CM) polices, practices and procedures to ensure comprehensive compliance with agency standards for security, patch management, group policy objects (GPOs), for existing deployed devices and systems Troubleshoots technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems. Operating and maintaining asset management and tracking systems. Track all hardware and software and maintain a library in both digital and original format. Assist on-site IT Support audits to validate inventories and asset disposition. Assist IT team with STIGs & IAVA implementation/patching for system devices and preform imaging of systems based off NIST Security requirements. Brief management and leadership on Tier-1-2 service requests status and complete incident trend analysis to independently and proactively recognize and prevent service interruption and/or security risks. Responsible for the administration of e-mail systems. Write technical procedures and training manuals.
