We are looking for an experienced CNC programmer who can create and revise existing CNC programs using Mastercam. Program 3, 4, and 5 axis mills, Lathes, 3 and 5 axis routers, and waterjets. Assisting with fixture design, tooling purchases, and overall machining support to enhance the productivity of our organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Plans machining by studying work orders, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces, machining parameters, interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
  • Reading and interpreting technical blueprints and design models.
  • Troubleshooting issues during the manufacturing process.
  • Creating setup and work instructions for operators.
  • Making calculations for programming including sequence of operations, cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and cutting methodologies.
  • Communicating with engineers and CNC operators.
  • Evaluates completed programs by running simulations.
  • Modifying existing programs for increased efficiency.
