Edward-Elmhurst Health is Hiring a Pharmacy Tech Near Naperville, IL
Job Summary: Assists pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the drug inventory and maintenance of records. Works only under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.
Location: Naperville campus
Hours: Part time, days/evenings. Weekend rotation required.
Required:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Current License as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Illinois, AND
- Current Pharmacy Technician Certification or must obtain Certified Pharmacy Technician within 270 days of hire, OR
- Successfully passed the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board or the Exam for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians examination pending certification, OR
- Current Pharmacy Technician license with “Student” designation issued by the State of Illinois
Preferred:
- Minimum one year of pharmacy experience as a pharmacy technician
