Education First FCU is Hiring a Data Specialist Near Beaumont, TX

Job Summary

Utilize data architecture to edit\create reports and dashboards as requested from management or subject matter experts. Coordinate with third party data providers to incorporate data solutions. Maintain data solution for optimal usage, stability, and data integrity.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Install, test, and maintain reporting software solution. Introduce new software enhancements to promote proper utilization across the organization.
  • Interact with all credit union departments to develop and maintain reporting solutions to support analytical, statistical, and demographic account relationships.
  • Manage SQL server maintenance schedules and updates to the software solution.
  • Work with third party data providers for data acquisition and import.
  • Assist employees with software solution activities and problem resolution with vendor support.
  • Develop user and technical documentation.
  • Track system develop from solution provider to provide recommendations for future enhancements
  • Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Qualifications and Skills

Experience

Two to Five years of similar or related experience, including time spent in preparatory positions.

Education/Certifications/Licenses

Microsoft SQL Certification, Associates Degree, College Degree

Interpersonal Skills

Work with third party data providers, management, and subject matter experts, developing data visualizations. Dialog is of technical nature that may require communicating abstract data relationships.

Other Skills

Knowledge of technology programs utilized by the financial industry including but limited to JackHenry Symitar, Fiserv, Origence, Internet/Intranet applications, and Microsoft Office products. Has programming platform experience using Object Oriented Architecture, HTML, XML, SOAP, and REST api. Has database management skills with stored procedures, views, and SQL Server 2016 and above.

Minimum Starting Wage: $23.55 (Negotiable based on experience)
