WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

EDO is hiring a Content Marketing Manager to join our fast-growing Marketing team. As an experienced Content Marketer, you’ll be leading the content marketing activities that strengthen our brand, increase awareness, drive content performance, build community and deliver qualified leads. This position will report to the SVP, Head of Marketing and interact internally with marketing, sales, client, product, and executive teams — as well as key external contractors and partners. The scope of your work will encompass various digital marketing activities across paid, owned, and earned media. Ideal candidates have experience driving content creation efforts at similarly positioned companies (size and/or industry). 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE…

  • Strategize and develop content marketing efforts — across thought leadership, internal / industry data, and case studies — to support brand-building and sales enablement efforts.
  • Manage and operationalize our content marketing machine - for predictable, regular, high-performing content that excites our clients/prospects, and energizes our internal/external stakeholders.
  • Promote and articulate the unique value proposition of EDO’s advanced Measurement solutions platform to direct clients, creative agencies, and media buying/planning agencies.
  • Accelerate brand-building and develop community through digital, social, and event strategies.
  • Partner cross-functionally (Product, Sales, Customer Success/Media Analytics, etc), to lead and support product marketing efforts that increase understanding and engagement with our growing platform — and renewal of existing / new features. 
  • Continuously track and optimize content performance - across the marketing funnel (paid, owned, earned media) — providing quality workflow to support our Marketing and Sales efforts.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCES REQUIRED

  • 4-6 years of Content Marketing experience for advanced measurement, consumer research/data, TV/video media and/or digital advertising technology companies. Preferred B2B startup experience in marketing to brands directly and media/creative agencies.
  • BA/BS preferred (Marketing/Communications Ideal).
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering strategy and execution of tactics.,
  • Exceptional communication, presentation and relationship building skills (internally and externally). 
  • Has a point of view - with “Strong beliefs, weakly held” (willing to learn, debate, and adapt). 
  • Excellent knowledge of industry trends, technology platforms and pricing models.
  • Ability to think strategically, with a strong understanding of traditional and modern marketing dynamics, tactics and strategies.
  • Strong familiarity of: Collaboration Tools (Google Docs, Notion / Confluence, Slack, Airtable, etc), CRM (Hubspot, Salesforce), Design / Creative Resources (Adobe Suite, Keynote, Canva, Figma, etc), and Digital Media (Google / LinkedIn / Facebook, ABM). While not all tools are required - a comfort / willingness to learn quickly is expected. 
  • Experience project managing various elements of a marketing plan across cross-functional resources.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to learn quickly.
  • Comfort with data-driven analysis, and quantitative reasoning - ability to convey complex concepts (our product, technology, and value proposition) in easy-to-understand terms
  • Self-motivated and results oriented: Identify problems and create solutions with minimal guidance or hand-holding.
  • Ability to work autonomously - stay organized and show/track progress regularly to management
  • Ability to work effectively remotely - flexible to work hours sometimes spanning time zones to support clients and internal meetings.
