Edges Electrical Group is Hiring a Credit Clerk Near Sacramento, CA

We are currently recruiting to add a Credit Clerk to our team in Sacramento. This position is full-time and 100% on-site at our branch in Natomas, CA.

The Credit Clerk provides administrative and operational support to the credit department with all aspects of credit and collections.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform basic data entry
  • Scan and update electronic files
  • Monitor department email inbox and direct messages to appropriate team members.
  • Maintain department calendar.
  • Conduct research to verify construction project information, such as property ownership, using multiple sources including online searches, phone calls to contractors, internal and
  • external emails, etc.
  • Send emails to customers with past due or over the limit accounts.
  • Using existing guidelines, determine whether to release orders on accounts that over the credit limit, have past due invoices, or are on credit hold for any reason.
  • Prepare and send lien waivers


Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent

Dependability – Follows instructions, responds to management direction; takes responsibility for own actions; keeps commitments; commits to long hours of work when necessary to

reach goals; complete tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate plan.

Skills:

Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents and writes routine correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with customers/vendors or other employees.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situation.

Computer Skills: Working experience with MS Excel and MSWord. Demonstrated ability to learn new software quickly. Experience with Epicor Eclipse is plus. 10-key proficient. Type 40

wpm.
