- Oversee and assist staff with monthly close procedures and review of GL reconciliations.
- Maintaining and regularly reviewing financial transaction records, ensure all incoming cash is recorded and applied correctly, and supervising a team of accounting by reviewing daily entries to ensure accuracy.
- Review and analyze debt transactions, including but not limited to new loan agreements, swap transactions and calculation of capitalized interest.
- Provide guidance to the accounting staff relating to intercompany transactions, including the proper recording of intercompany loan agreements, intercompany interest and transfer pricing entries.
- Assist with the month-end financial reporting, including the preparation of MoM variance analysis, resolving accounting discrepancies and coordinating with other departments.
- Assists with annual financial audit.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Strong communications, both written and verbal, in leading teams and coordinating with peers and other disciplines on driving projects/issues to closure.
- Superb ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects/responsibilities.
- Strong attention to details
- Commitment to organizational excellence and constant awareness to seek opportunities to improve processes/quality of deliverables.
- Superb ability to meet committed timelines, leveraging assistance/input from peers.
- Strong and effective team player in working with various disciplines and peer groups; can cover all gamut of tasks required to ‘getting a job done’.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Advanced Excel skills
- 5 years of related accounting experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- Candidates with experience in Real Estate and using NetSuite, as well as active CPA are strongly encouraged to apply.
EdgeconneX offers a competitive benefit package. The preferred pay range for this position is $130,000 to $140,000. Compensation will be finalized after consideration of the successful applicant's prior work experience, education level and relevant education, and unique skills. EdgeConneX is committed to finding the right person for this role, and salary requests above or below this range may be considered.
