The COTA's job responsibilites include assisting the OT in providing occupational therapy treatments to residents/patients as determined by the plan of care, as directed by the OT. The COTA will manage a caseload by scheduling treatments both individually and in groups while maintaining efficiency expectations. The COTA must comply with regulatory, procedural and professional standards and adhere to PPS guidelines.
