Full Time Staffing Specialist - Flexible shift during general office hours 8am-5pm

Ecumen Lakeshore is hiring a Staffing Specialist. The Ecumen Lakeshore community includes 100 independent living and 40 assisted living apartment homes, 20 additional residences for seniors requiring memory care services as well as short-term rehab and post-hospital care private rooms to care for up to 60 patients along the picturesque shore of Lake Superior in Duluth, Minnesota.

Responsibilities

The Staffing Specialist is primarily responsible for scheduling staff in assigned departments to meet daily staffing requirements.

Minimum Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED. 
• Able to communicate effectively including both verbal and written.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and strong organizational skills
• Ability to understand scheduling procedures, including collective bargaining agreements if applicable.
• Ability to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the facility including but not limited to: Vulnerable Adult and Abuse Policy, HIPAA, Resident’s Bill of Rights, Universal Precaution, AWAIR, OSHA, Right to know, SDS, ADA, HUD Policy and Procedures, Fair Housing laws and regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with staffing / scheduling.
• Experience working with seniors.
