ECLIPSE RTO, LLC is Hiring a Business Development Manager Near Canoga Park, CA

The BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER for Rent-A-Center creates and communicates a clear vision of the company’s growth through business and performance expectations and strategy to achieve the desired results. The BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER works with the District Managers as support to grow revenue and profits through several channels such as but not limited to – company sales programs, Retail cash transactions, training and developing SMs to think as entrepreneurs to growth their business and to think outside the box for growth opportunities’. All functions and responsibilities are to be accomplished in a way that is consistent with the RAC mission statement and core values.

Essential Functions

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. The BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER will:

Revenue/Profit: 

1. Develop and successfully implement company sales plan to maximize revenue and profits

2. Support VP of Operations to meet or exceed budgeted revenue and profit goals

3. Analyze monthly sales and growth, determine reasons for variances, and develop solutions to correct when appropriate

4. Create activities to maintain a focus on driving the business and generating strong sales and revenue results

5. Follow up and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly company key indicators

6. Manage reporting and rankings based upon current company goals

Support:

1. Support District Managers to help lead store management teams to meet store revenue and growth goals daily

2. Provide on-going development for Store Managers by conducting training and operational meetings for sales

3. Support District Managers’ ability to execute company policies and procedures

4. Set a positive example in demonstrating a high level of integrity, maintaining professional relationship with coworkers, and being fully compliant with RAC Code of Conduct

5. Create an environment inside/outside that will attract and retain coworkers

6. Establish priorities and maintain a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly “to do” list and ensure that critical initiatives are implemented and completed

7. Regularly monitor the progress of the District Managers with attention to how well they are implementing and following up on key initiatives

8. Resolve problems quickly and always follow up to ensure the solution is successful and the problem has not reoccurred

9. Monitor customer satisfaction while in the store and use customer complaints as an opportunity to win the customer for life

Required Education and Experience

8 years of retail/management experience

Demonstrated ability to perform all essential job functions and support the District Manager level

Computer literacy/proficiency in store operation applications

Valid state driver’s license and good driving record
