Job Description

As part of Eataly’s Finance Department, an Accounts Payable Associate is primarily responsible ensuring that all payables are properly reviewed, entered, and scheduled for payment. An Accounts Payable associate also works with the Accounting team to ensure timely and accurate monthly closes. This position is ideal for new or experienced professionals who want to work in the fast-paced environment of Finance and Hospitality. Reports to the Accounts Payable Manager. This is a full-time position at Eataly HQ, with a hybrid on-site/work schedule.

• Reviews and processes all assigned payables transactions, including inventory, utilities, and other operational expenses, with accuracy and attention to detail
• Keeps pace with local store teams and other corporate departments to ensure accurate processing and payment of all invoices
• Requests and reconciles vendor statements to maintain accurate payables and track possible missing costs
• Onboard new vendors and maintain accurate vendor records, including payment information verification
• Process weekly payments by check, credit card, electronic transfer
• Assists vendors and Eataly team members with billing and payment matters, responding to e-mails in a timely manner
• Organizes invoice and payment documentation for ease of scanning, filing, and document retrieval; provide invoice copies upon request
• Assist with audit inquiries
• Performs other duties as required or assigned

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Great Plains or Microsoft Dynamics
• At least 1 year of Accounts Payable experience highly preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• Ability to work efficiently and with precision, especially with numbers
• Ability to effectively communicate in order to ensure accurate cost and expense reporting
• Outstanding organizational, multitasking and time management skills

Additional Information

The base range for this role is between $18-25/hr depending on experience.
