Being able to design applications from top to bottom, troubleshooting and debugging tough problems, and brainstorming new ideas are important to this role. You will be working primarily with Python, Ruby, or Go, but our general approach is to choose the best language for the job. What you will:As a Senior DBA, you will be responsible for administering, tuning, and the general care and feeding of our cassandra and mysql/galera clusters. We greatly value teamwork, so working with developers, debugging, and helping them tune their queries is a highly valued facet of the DBA role. You never will be working “alone” you will have the skillset of many talented engineers and system admins to draw upon when you need it. About you:You value open collaboration, have a strong desire to learn, and are excited to pick up new skills and technologies.
