Eastside Outpatient Services, a substance abuse treatment center, is seeking a part-time LPN to join our organization.

The LPN must be able to dispense medications in the mornings, starting at 6 AM. The LPN must also be able to work some weekend mornings.

Responsibilities

• Nurse is responsible for the safe and the efficient dispensing and administering of Methadone to opioid dependent clients.
• Documentation of medical and clinical records and observations, records keeping regarding Methadone inventory and control.
• Works in close coordination with other treatment team members.
• Case management
• Participate in Staff Trainings and Clinical Staffing as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned by Program Director and MD’s
• Interested candidates should have a strong interest in working in substance abuse field, be a team player, be organized, and have a strong interpersonal communication skills and be dependable.

Qualifications

• LPN License in the State of Michigan
• Must be willing to work flexible hours, as per the clinic’s hours of operations, including some Saturday mornings
