Fire Alarm Technician

Easton Electronics, a leader in world-class service, testing and maintenance of fire protection systems for over 35 years, is currently seeking a licensed Fire Alarm Technician to join our team. We specialize in providing fire protection systems and services to customers in the eastern Massachusetts area. Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair fire alarm systems and related equipment in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and manufacturer specifications.
  • Conduct regular inspections, troubleshoot and diagnose fire alarm systems and provide necessary repairs and upgrades.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and provide excellent customer service.
  • Complete necessary paperwork and documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in fire alarm technology and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • A current A, B, C or D electrical or systems technician license in the state of Massachusetts.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm systems.
  • Knowledge of relevant codes and standards, including NFPA 72 and Massachusetts building codes.
  • Ability to troubleshoot fire alarm systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to complete necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
