EasterSeals NH is Hiring a Practice Manager Near Manchester, NH

We are looking for a dedicated Practice Manager to focus on the day-to-day operations of the Military & Veteran clinical services in order to ensure smooth and efficient operations, as well as review practice management needs in other departments that provide clinical services within the organization. The individual in this key position will also be responsible for the following: Practice Management Planning (Approx. 50% of time) Assist leadership in establishing short- and long-term goals, objectives, work plans and policies for practice management across clinical sectors of the agency. Utilize current research (Helms & Co) which outlines practice management opportunities, gaps and recommendations for Easterseals to develop plan for incorporating practice management into departments across the agency. Determine areas of priority for additional practice management resources and create economic and process improvement justifications for same. Assist in the recruitment, interviewing and selection of practice management staff across the agency. Establish and maintain positive, effective relationships with public agencies within the referral network and continue to develop and foster effective inter-disciplinary communication skills with physicians, employees, patients, insurance companies and other stakeholders. Maintain compliance with Easterseals’ policies and procedures, as well as federal, state and licensing (i.e. Department of Health & Human Services) applicable regulations and practices. Support quality and compliance initiatives in clinical service lines. Veterans Count Clinic (Approx. 50% of time): Oversee daily operations and fiscal management of Military & Veteran clinical services. Develop and implement process for cost effective, highly efficient scheduling. Prepare, monitor and analyze financial data and MVS clinician productivity on a weekly basis. Ensure adequate staff coverage, and develop and maintain a monthly on-call schedule for provider staff to ensure continuous back-up coverage Identify and handle system breakdowns where and when they occur Responsible for the clinic-based patient flow system, making sure walk-in patients and appointment patients are seen in a timely manner. Responsible for ensuring that the Program Director or Senior VP of Program Services or his/her designee (as applicable) is updated about current issues and/or problems related to clinic operations In collaboration with billing: Assure all initial patient registration, insurance information and any other demographics are correct for billing processing and include up to date HIPAA and intake forms. Perform auditing functions and quality assurance by reviewing patient billing forms and records. Identify and maintain appropriate and justified opportunities to maximize clinical revenue through correct coding and diagnosis procedures. Support clinicians and monitor progress with industry best billing and coding practices. Work with patients to fulfill financial obligation in a professional and compassionate manner. Oversee medical record function, i.e. patient records are up to date and meet audit requirements. Research, plan and assist in the implementation electronic medical records as soon as possible. Routinely review audit trails of patient records. Ensure the collection and compilation of quality assurance and clinical data for management. Implement and maintain developed systems to procure adequate levels of supplies and resources necessary to operate the center. Create and maintain KPI dashboard of industry standard metrics Help coordinate and monitor grant funded programs and ensure appropriate information is generated for final reports to foundations. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Health Management or related field Five years or more experience in a clinic and/or community health care environment engaging in active practice management Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Hours: This is a full-time, salaried position, 40 hours/week. Compensation: Starting $100,000 annually.
