Director of Nursing
Located in Cleveland, OH
Currently seeking compassionate and professional Director of Nursing tohelp manage the nursing department of a privately owned facility located in Cleveland, OH. The ideal candidate will be a RN from an accredited school of nursing and have previous experience as a Director of Nursing.
Responsibilities of the Director of Nursing:
- Supervises all nursing staff in the facility
- Development and implementation of nursing policy and procedure
- Overseeing the hiring and continued employment of nursing staff
- Ensuring there is adequate nursing staff, and that the staff's skills remain current
- Overseeing nursing employee conduct
- Being knowledgeable of incidents at the facility
- Assessing the health needs of each resident
Requirements of the Director of Nursing:
- Must have current OH RN license
- Must have a minimum of three years Director of Nursing experience
- Must have long term care experience
- Proven management & leadership skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
