Job Summary

Pittsburgh, PA | Baden, PA

*Housecleaner/Household Manager Position*

Start Date: As soon as the perfect fit is found!

Hours: 2 days/week guaranteed, with family willing to offer a third day; Monday, Thursday, and Friday are the family’s preferred days for the Housecleaner/Household Manager to work. Family is flexible on schedule, but would appreciate some flexibility for weekend help here and there.

Hourly Rate: $30-35/hour

Three Children: 8, 5.5, and 3-years-old

Covid and Flu Shot Preferred

Pets: 2 cats

Responsibilities and Duties

• WHO/WHAT: This fun-loving, active crew of 5 is looking for a professional house cleaner/household manager to join their family two to three days a week. They are searching for someone who is organized, proactive, forward-thinking, and a planner at heart to help guide their family and bustling household! They would love someone who is passionate about cleaning and keeping their home tidy and organized - meal planning and meal prepping would be ideal! Their nanny will be caring for their sweet kids while you help care for their beautiful home.

  Your house cleaning responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) the family's laundry, cleaning and maintaining their bathrooms and bedrooms, cleaning their kitchen (including dish duty, putting food away, sweeping, mopping, and tidying) vacuuming living spaces, and bed making. In addition, the house cleaner/household manager will serve as the family party planner (hello, who has the best birthday bash on the block? These kids!), will be responsible for errands out and about, organizing the kid's toys, pantries, inventory, online ordering and pick up. They would ask the nanny to assist their one-day-a-week housecleaner with some of the deep cleanings regularly. This family would appreciate a candidate who enjoys cooking; Mom and Dad would love help with meal planning and meal prepping! These professional parents are looking for a team player who is always thinking one step ahead of them about their family’s needs. The Ideal Nanny Would Be...Maintaining both house and home doesn’t faze you one bit-- in fact, you get your energy from it! You are proactive and a team player who is always thinking a step ahead. You take pride in keeping spaces and things clean, usable, and organized and can’t wait to join a family where your efforts are valued! Ideally, you are open to working several weekends a year, assisting the family with hosting parties. You are a clear communicator and absolutely a non-smoker.

Requirements and Benefits

• Nanny must have a driver's license, vehicle, and a clean driving record

• Nanny MUST have previous nanny experience for a minimum of 2 years.
