Job Summary

  • Pittsburgh | Gibsonia/Hampton

  • Start Date: As soon as the perfect fit is found!

  • Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM; Monday - Friday; 42.5 Hours Guaranteed

  • Hourly Rate: $24-30/hour

  • 1 Child: 21 Months Old

  • Covid Shot and Flu Shot Required; Infant CPR Certification Required

  • Paid Vacation: 1 week paid of the family's choice, 1 week paid of the nanny's choice, 3 sick days/personal days, and all major holidays

Responsibilities and Duties

  • WHO/WHAT: Newly relocated to the Pittsburgh area, the sweetest family of 3 is seeking an experienced and interactive nanny for their (almost) 2-year-old son! He is a charming, energetic little fellow who radiates excitement and joy with those around him. This family is hoping their new nanny will be intentional and enrich his days by seeking ways to play, read, sing, dance, and engage this darling toddler as he grows. He loves to go exploring outside, and this family’s new home is perfect for going on all the adventures together. These amazing parents look forward to their nanny becoming a treasured part of their family for the next couple of years as they hope to expand their sweet trio in the future. This family promises to treat you professionally as they respect the relationship of a nanny/employer. You’ll be their stand-in while they’re at work, exemplifying love, care, safety, and integrity on the home front.

The Ideal Nanny would be... Nurturing, interactive, and helpful, you have plentiful experience with children, and are passionate about quality care! You can creatively balance the upcoming toddler years, are confident and knowledgeable in child-led growing and learning, and are eager to ease and encourage these loving parents as they continue to maneuver COVID cautions and new parenthood. You are creative and able to bring new and fun ideas for crafts, learning, and play. You are always on time and are engaging and proactive. You can balance light housework and food prep with a kitchen dance party and look forward to neighborhood walks and exploration! Most importantly, you love deeply, leading by example and joy. You can’t wait to embrace these newcomers to our city!

Requirements and Benefits

  • Nanny must have a driver's license, vehicle, and a clean driving record

  • Nanny MUST have previous nanny experience for a minimum of 2 years. 

  • Paid Vacation

  • Be willing to travel!
