We are looking for a Part-time Bookkeeper. This position will report to the Finance and the Controller and the Executive Vice President.
POSITION DETAILS: This position is part-time nonexempt. This position is 5 hours per day Monday to Friday, 25 hours per week. 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. EST approx.
This position is remote. However, occasionally, staff is requested to come to the office for meetings or to work with the Finance team on a project.
SUMMARY: Bookkeeper provides accounting support by reviewing financial information; converting data to the general ledger system/ QuickBooks; and obtaining supplementary information for preparing to assist controller in assigned projects.
As part of the Finance team, Bookkeeper job duties include working closely with our Controller and Executive VP to create and analyze financial reports and ensure Financial requirements compliance, process accounts payable and receivable, manage invoices and Quickbooks in addition to any other projects assigned.
Ultimately, the Bookkeeper’s responsibilities are to accurately record all day-to-day financial transactions of EWC.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
· Recording alternative transactions in QuickBooks and reconciling accounts assigned
· Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
· Accurately record all day-to-day financial transactions of our company.
· Adjusting entries as needed.
· Invoicing through Quickbooks.
· Perform all activities related to the accounts payable function including reviewing, coding, and processing payments
· Interpret and apply accounting policies, rules, and regulations to all work in order to ensure compliance with applicable standards.
Must have experience in the following: Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Bank reconciliations, Billing, ACH payments, Analysis, Assisting with Month End, Cash Management and QuickBooks.
