The Holiday Inn Express in East Syracuse, is currently in need of a responsible individual to fill the position of Maintenance Technician. This candidate will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining and repairing mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems to ensure optimal operating results. The successful candidate will oversee the company’s facility operations, snow removal, preventative maintenance in our guest rooms and public areas. Ensure a safe and secure environment for guests, team members in compliance with regulatory policies and procedures. Manage daily engineering needs, and other duties as assigned. This is a full time position working 40 hours a week.

This candidate should have

- a valid drivers license

- ability to work nights and weekends

- be on call for major emergencies

- Communicate to other departments heads and staff members

- ability to multi task

- ability to prioritize work and complete task in a timely manner

- Follow directions from General Manager

- Keep to brand standards

- Maintain documentation required by the brand
