East Hills Animal Clinic is seeking a dynamic and dedicated CVT w/ leadership experience, to help us provide the exceptional patient care we are known for! The work we do is exciting, challenging and extremely rewarding. We are open 6 days a week, and as a busy small animal clinic we offer our patients much more than wellness examinations and vaccines. We regularly perform surgical procedures and use top-notch medical diagnostic equipment such as digital standard and dental X-ray, ultrasound, and in house lab & pharmacy.
Our vet techs work directly with our doctors and support staff in a collaborative environment. All EHAC staff members are team players who can multi-task while maintaining close attention to details, in a fast-paced work environment. Management is attentive to the needs of the team as well as those of our patients, clients and the business.
We are hoping to find someone ready to work full-time, with the flexibility of choosing 30-40 hours a week.
Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:
Ability to accurately document treatment plans.
Ability to perform blood draws, from various veins.
Ability to induce and monitor anesthesia.
Ability to place IV catheters.
Ability to do drug calculations for canine and feline dentistry.
An understanding of radiology, both digital and dental.
Ability to collect urine, both via catheter and cystocentesis.
Ability to accurately restrain felines and canines of all sizes.
Ability to train and assist the other technicians in the above activities.
