We are currently looking for an experienced Production Supervisor for our frozen seafood production operation in Lakeville, Massachusetts. The Production Supervisor is in charge of real time production and supervision of line operations and production staff. They are responsible for supervising production workers in a manufacturing environment, as well as assisting the Production Manager with work planning and product orders. The successful candidate will be bi-lingual (Spanish/English) and must be forklift certified.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Assist the Production Manager in organizing the daily production, in a manner that prevents down time.
  • Partners with Production Managers in training/coaching line personnel in the execution of their duties.
  • Receives and reviews production requests and assists in production control.
  • Monitor, inspect, and record various final products and orders.
  • Inspect and record weight and label accuracies for various product, orders and shipments.
  • Work with QC department daily to ensure all quality controls are being implemented.
  • Perform all necessary supervisory functions to effectively manage the personnel assigned.
  • Keep the Production Manager promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters related to production.
  • Maintains work areas in a neat, clean, orderly fashion to ensure product safety always.
  • Role models demonstrating East Coast Seafood Group’s core values.
