Easlan Management Company is Hiring an Accountant Near Greenville, SC
Easlan Management Company is seeking to hire an enthusiastic individual to serve as an Accountant at our main location in Greenville, SC.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- All aspects of accounting for an assigned set of properties
- Communicate and build working relationship with third party clients
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Special reporting for third party clients
- Reconcile and document balance sheet accounts
- Prepare analysis of accounts as requested
- Prepare journal entries
- Month end and year end closing
- Coordination of the audit process
- Assist in preparing budgets
- Tracking of insurance policies, premiums, and reconcile prepaid balances
- Prepare reserve draw requests and provide documentation to lenders
- Cash Management
- Prepare cash projections and communicate with clients regarding cash needs
- Timely mortgage payments
- Bank reconciliations and online banking transactions
- Assist with 1099 Process
- Troubleshoot software issues
- Assist with other accounting projects
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Accounting
- 5 or more years of accounting experience
- Real estate or property management accounting experience preferred
- Entrata or similar software experience preferred
- Proficiency with Excel and Word
- Strong time-management, planning and organizational skills
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Creative problem solver
- Ability to work in a team environment
