In addition to a talented cadre of environmental lawyers and legislative advocates, Earthjustice has an amazing communications department that works in partnership with every other department at the organization. The Communications Project Manager plays a vital role in growing and diversifying our audiences by ensuring key communications projects run smoothly, on time and within budget. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, the Communications Project Manager is responsible for managing high priority projects within the Communications department and supporting infrastructure for the department’s projects to run smoothly. The project manager plans, executes, and evaluates projects according to timelines and budgets. Working with various project leads, stakeholders, and the senior project manager, the Communications Project Manager will ensure quality control throughout project life cycles.
Preference for candidates willing to be based out of either our San Francisco, CA, Washington, D.C. or Los Angeles, CA offices under our hybrid model. Remote candidates within the U.S. will also be considered.
Willingness to travel 3-4x/year strongly desired.
Responsibilities:
Project Management: Manage 2-4 Cross-functional Projects, as assigned (60%)
Project Infrastructure Support: Establish and support processes and tools (35%)
Continued Learning and DEI: (5%)

Salary range in San Francisco, CA: $100,200 - $111,300
Salary range in Washington, D.C. & Los Angeles, CA: $95,200 - $105,800
