Position Summary:
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for day to day accounting operations, maintaining the accuracy and completeness of general ledger accounts and month end close reporting. The Senior Accountant will report directly to the Accounting Manager.
This is a remote position.
What You'll Do:
- Actively participate in the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process, which includes preparation of journal entries, balance sheet and income statement reconciliations and analysis
- Assist with the balance sheet and income statement flux analysis for management reporting
- Collaborate with FP&A and other cross-functional departments to ensure completeness of operating expenses
- Oversee the outsourced accounts payable process and handle all respects of the expense reimbursement in accordance with the T&E policy. Resolve any issues concerning accounts payable and the Company's corporate credit card program as needed.
- Assist in the completion of the daily cash reconciliation process and help drive efficiencies by leveraging automation and process flows
- Assist in various aspects of external audits including PBC documentation support for auditors
- Assist with other projects as required
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 3-5 years of related work experience
- Big 4 accounting firm experience a plus
- CPA or equivalent a plus
- NetSuite experience a plus
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Ability to multi-task, stay organized and prioritize deadlines in fast paced and continuously changing environment
- Promotes teamwork and works well with others
- Energetic, detail-oriented, and positive attitude
