Position Summary:

As a Creative Director at Earnin, you will play a critical role in defining our creative strategy: conceiving and executing advertising campaigns, oversee the production of creative assets, and developing ideas for how our brand comes to life. This role will be managing creative strategy, planning, leading and executing concepts, advertisement design, copywriting/messaging and other visual systems within the marketing organization.

This is a remote position.

What You'll Do:

  • Own and build the creative direction of Earnin’s creative campaigns and advertising
  • Provide clear and constructive creative direction, delivering feedback to strengthen the work and inspire creative teams
  • Present creative work to internal teams, cross-functional partners, and executives– clearly articulating creative rationale
  • Own the creation of design assets for various brand touchpoints including advertising, social media, lifecycle marketing, internal communications and more
  • Concept and develop preliminary concepts into refined, comprehensive design solutions
  • Faithfully follow our brand guidelines and ensure others at Earnin do the same
  • Pitch ideas (written, verbally, and visually) to peers, seniors, and executive leadership

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Design, Visual Communications, or a similar area of study.
  • 8 years of design experience focused on advertising, preferably with some experience in an agency setting
  • A comprehensive understanding of omnichannel marketing and cultural/industry trends
  • Expertise and flexibility to evolve creative campaigns based on metric-driven findings to achieve business objectives
  • Ability to guide, evaluate, and if necessary, redirect creative development
  • A portfolio showcasing high-quality creative expertise across a variety of mediums and channels within branding, advertising campaigns, social media, product, corporate comms, etc.

  • In-depth understanding of analytics as it relates to campaign performance
  • Design systems experience
  • Experience working with other companies in fintech, or the financial services industry
