Overall Purpose This position typically will be for a 12-week period and will work under the direct supervision of a department manager or designee. This position is responsible for supporting product delivery within EWS. They support business case delivery for a product(s) or value stream(s) and ensure work is flowing effectively and dependencies and impacted stakeholders across the organization are identified and supported. Essential Functions Support a product from discovery through delivery, works with partner teams as activities are inflight to track progress Track dependencies across teams and external partners (i.e. InfoSec, Compliance, etc.) Guide business cases and features through the SAFe Portfolio Kanban process Complete our scaled agile training program and may acquire professional certifications Undertake daily follow-ups with individual team members to ensure projects are on track and goals are being met Keep an objective perspective on issues and troubleshoots by applying Agile principles Actively participates in meetings with cross-functional teams to ensure they are practicing the methodology effectively Support the company’s commitment to risk management and protecting the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data Minimum Qualifications Currently enrolled in an accredited college program with course work related to the internship or general knowledge acquired as normally obtained through the completion of a bachelor’s degree Ability and desire to learn agile methodologies and complete our training program Critical thinker who can envision processes end to end Entrepreneurial mindset, sees opportunities, solutions, and takes accountability to see them through Action orientated, takes initiative, and seeks guidance to achieve desired outcomes Highly coachable with a willingness to learn and development new skills Ability to work with multiple teams and drive to a common outcome Willingness to challenge the status quo and bring new ideas forward Background and drug screen Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with agile delivery models and related analytics Familiarity with change management/ project management practices Exposure or experience to project/ portfolio/ program management concepts Financial acumen relating to budgeting, accounting, and planning. Physical Requirements Working conditions consist of a normal office environment. Work is primarily sedentary and requires extensive use of a computer and involves sitting for periods of approximately four hours. Work may require occasional standing, walking, kneeling, and reaching. Must be able to lift 10 pounds occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently. Requires visual acuity and dexterity to view, prepare, and manipulate documents and office equipment including personal computers. Requires the ability to communicate with internal and/or external customers. Employee must be able to perform essential functions and physical requirements of position with or without reasonable accommodation.
